The working Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager and supervising a team of 6 warehouse members within a 32k sq. ft. warehouse to ensure that all functions are performed efficiently within company and distribution center standards.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, with flexibility due to operational needs.

This position will receive up to 10% annual bonus potential.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Plan, manage and coordinate the daily activities for the warehouse within shipping operations

• Effectively forecast volume, staffing, and supply needs to meet productivity and expense budgets

• Walk the warehouse to ensure building conditions are maintained

• Identify potential safety hazards and correct them as necessary

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with the warehouse team and supply chain

• Develop productive associates through training and coaching

• Assisting with routing trucks

• Inventory control which includes resolving discrepancies after completing cycle counts

• Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects

Qualifications

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the distribution industry

• A working knowledge of government regulations regarding warehouse operations

• Strong leadership and engagement skills

• Experience implementing process improvements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
