As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead a team within Inventory Control to handle all material receipts, the shipping of finished goods to warehouses and direct to customers, customer returns for Ocal, and manage the forklift fleet.

Your responsibilities

  • Organize and allocate resources to safely, effectively, and efficiently support production through the receipt of inventory both inside the facility and outside on the yard

  • Ensure that finished goods production is correctly reported and shipped according to dimensions set by the Planning department

  • Identify and recommend material handling equipment needs for the facility

  • Ensure pallets are available for shipping

  • Process Ocal returns within the SAP system and move product back into distribution

  • Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams

  • Provide leadership and development to team in order to create a skilled work group. Guide and motivate team

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on a regular cadence

  • Manage changes through effective change management techniques

  • Drive cost savings project and support continual improvement projects with the department

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the manufacturing environment

  • 2 plus years of experience in a Supervisory role for Inventory Management

  • Forklift certified on equipment used within the facility

  • Experience with SAP preferred

  • Computer literate

  • Must be able to develop, analyze and present data developed from the use of the computer
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
