What will you do? Plan and prioritize shipments to meet customer needs and operational deadlines Supervise and train shipping team members, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments, and ensure proper handling of products Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve any shipping issues Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse Optimize shipping processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs What qualifications will make you successful? Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, with at least years in a supervisory capacity Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including domestic and international logistics Familiarity with inventory management systems and software Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience.
