Role Summary

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Warehouse Shipping Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Shipping Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately processed and shipped to customers in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring that all orders are fulfilled and delivered correctly.

Duties and Responsibilities

A warehouse shipper is responsible for verifying the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, managing parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment.

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.

  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

  • Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and transport products as necessary.

  • Consolidate customer orders into crate, if applicable.

  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate shipping logistics and prioritize orders.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

  • Interact with shipping truck vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

  • Provide accurate and on time shipment of products.

  • Follow company procedures and directives.

  • Participate in the company's safety and health programs.

  • Contributes to overall team and business success.

  • Customer focused is a requirement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred. (1-3 yrs.)

  • High computer system application literacy including Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new business applications quickly.

  • Must be able to work off hours, weekends, and OT on a short notice and on an on-going basis, based on business needs.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Good physical condition

  • Reaching, climbing, sitting, reaching overhead, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Desired:

  • Must be able to learn how to operate large warehouse equipment, fork trucks, 5-ton cranes, etc.

  • Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and moving heavy awkward products.

  • High level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is necessary for career advancement.

  • Willingness to travel to other locations and work as needed.

The starting pay for this position will be between $19 and $22 per hour.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
