Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a self-motivated and independent worker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As the Warehouse Parker, you are responsible for ensuring vehicles complete the process of being unloaded, washed, and parked. You will also assist operations with accurate sortation of freight.

Hours and Wages:

• Monday- Friday, 5:00PM- completion

• 10-15 hours of overtime expected each week

• Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week

• Starting wage: $18.50-$20.50 per hour, plus shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives empty fleet vehicles to the appropriate location to be washed and parked

• Oversees truck washing employees to ensure all vehicles are washed thoroughly

• Parks fleet vehicles in the appropriate route docks

• Carries a radio and reports to terminals for vehicle swaps

• Communicates with the Fleet Maintenance departments regarding vehicle changes

• Supports warehouse staff with sorting freight

• Sorts, loads, and unloads freight in a safe and accurate manner

• Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age and hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards

• Ability to operate a manual transmission, or have the willingness to learn

• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work with a full range of motion with no limits to standing, squatting, stair climbing, overhead lifting, walking, and lifting freight weighing up to 100 pounds

• Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
