Responsibilities

1st Shift Monday

• Thursday 6:00 am

• 3:00 pm and Friday 6:00 am

• 12:00 pm

Starting Pay Rate $18.00/hr

Our Globe Footwear Plant, a Division of MSA Safety, in Auburn, Maine is now hiring for a Warehouse Operator. Globe builds protective leather footwear for firefighters. Our Team consists of individuals performing a variety of stitching and non stitching operations as we convert specialty cut fabric into high quality footwear. This role will be counted on for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Receiving/Issuing Material in SAP.

• Distributing materials, parts and supplies to the production floor.

• Unloading incoming deliveries safely. Verifying and checking quantities using bill of lading/sales orders and pack lists.

• Operating pallet jack & forklift.

• Working in various departments (such as stockroom, leather, shipping).

• Performing cycle count duties daily and inventory cycle count duties annually, or as required.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-6 months of warehouse experience.

• Basic computer skills.

• Must be able to work from Monday

• Thursday 6AM

• 3PM and Friday 6AM

• 12PM.

• Willing to perform variety of tasks.

• Reliable; excellent attendance is required.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good Manual dexterity skills.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Able to:

• Stand and walk continuously throughout the day.

• Able to read, write and speak English.

• Able to understand written or pictorial work instructions.

• Able to lift and move 35 pounds regularly.

• Work well with others as well as independently.

• Demonstrate positive and flexible attitude and ability to work and be a team player.

Preferred:

• Forklift operating experience helpful (but will train).

• Experience with SAP
