Our team in Elmendorf currently has an opening for a Warehouse Operator
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all duties in strict adherence with company safety and environmental policy
Reads delivery tickets or purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Performs analysis of incoming bulk materials according to procedures and notifies supervisor with any variance from specifications.
Operates a lift truck and maintains daily checklist
Unloads cargo tanks of chemicals, lubricants, or fuels into correct bulk storage tank(s)
Maintains storage tanks and shipping containers
Loads Cargo tanks with bulk chemicals, lubricants, or fuels from storage
Loads drums, tote tanks and other containers onto trucks
Repackages bulk products into drums, pails and/or totes according to repackaging agreements
Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Marks materials and containers with identifying information according to company and regulatory requirements
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Controls and maintains inventory records
Maintains appropriate level of housekeeping according to company standards
Reports accidents and/or incidents to supervisor
Participates in ongoing safety program including safety meetings and trainings
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
Bachelor (Master) Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred, but Mechanical Engineers will be considered
Minimum 5+ Years' Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
Strong Technical Background and Support Experience
Organizational skills to multi-task and manage many requests and customers.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills among various business groupings from shift operators to upper management.
Proficient with Microsoft "Office 365" program applications.
ProMax and ProTreat process simulator proficiency a strong influence in consideration.
