Mission/Purpose of the Job:

• The Warehouse Operator is responsible for assisting in material flows that support re-manufacturing and distribution in the Chandler AZ company site. This role will assist in maintaining inventory control and safe systems of work while driving continuous improvement to achieve operation targets and efficiency.

• To support a supply chain infrastructure that enables achievement of business, operational and financial goals for the Edwards Services business in Chandler AZ facility activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries

• Labeling every product and placing them accordingly

• Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process

• Ships, receives, unloads, pack and handles materials, supplies, and equipment, and maintains inventory control and records.

• To support receiving and shipping activities are processed within 24 hrs to maximize customer service levels at the lowest supply chain costs and to support Hub turnaround times.

• Works with CTI/OSM Inventory in the warehouse which includes stocking shelves and rotates inventory when applicable, maintains shelf-life adherence, delivers, and retrieves material/supplies to and from work or storage areas.

• Maintains the accuracy of exchange pump pool, finished goods, spare parts inventory and associated stock records such as Stock Health, WIP on Hold, and other reports.

• Issue and distribute spare parts to service repairs/orders as required.

• Distribute all materials needs in production areas (Hardware, consumables, Chemicals, etc)

• Receives and unloads freight, either manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks and may involve receiving and storing of flammable, caustic, or hazardous materials.

• Maintain ownership and integrity of Quarantine Stock and MRB process.

• Supporting Inventory Optimization for business needs.

• Support 3rd party orders to ensure Vendor Performance is in align with operational goals for on time delivery. (i.e. Packaging, Rewound Motors, Modules, Chemicals, etc.)

• Supporting of equipment setup, leasing, renting and maintenance in the warehouse operations.

• Maintain trainer forklift certification and associated responsibilities for training operators, safe operation of forklift and other mechanical lifting devices.

• Support STC Operational Projects, Continuous Improvements, and STC Operations and KPIs.

• Ensure good housekeeping principles are being used to keep work areas neat and orderly per VTPS/6S which includes light janitorial and maintenance duties of equipment and vehicles as required.

• Through observation of work area(s), remain alert to and avoids unsafe behaviors and conditions or other hazards. Reports any observed hazards to supervisor. Participates in corrective measures when appropriate or authorized. Maintains personal area in an orderly fashion, free of hazards.

• Reports all injuries and/or near misses to supervisor immediately. Participates in and cooperates with accident investigations.

• Fully participates in assigned training programs. Attempts to perform only those tasks for which proper training has been received. Notifies supervisor if faced with a task which is potentially hazardous to self or co-workers due to inadequate training or lack of appropriate PPE.

• Becomes familiar with and practices all safety procedures. Seeks clarification or additional information when required. Strictly adheres to requirements for PPE and all safety rules.

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Education level

• High School diploma or GED with Military Service preferred

Relevant Previous experience

• 3 to 5 years' experience in an Operations environment preferably strong working knowledge of inventory management systems with Supply Chain management knowledge and 1 to 3 years' experience (Loading, unloading, shipping & receiving, cycle counting, customer service, etc.)
• Proven track history of safely operating a forklift and able to lift up to 50lbs without restrictions.

Knowledge areas

• Knowledge of MRP transaction and planning systems (e.g., SAP), and coordinating domestic/international deliveries

• Preparing and verifying shipping documentation

• Actioned cycle count schedules for target inventory

• Excellent communication skills, including well-developed inter-personal skills relating to internal members and global operations personnel.

• Computer literate, specifically: MS Office skills,

• Knowledge of vacuum applications, industry, and equipment an advantage.

• Preferred previous experience with material warehouse activities (PI counts, Shelf life, Materials replenishment)

• Strong understanding and working knowledge with transportation methods, carriers, and shipping documentation.

• Track record of providing conscientious and quality work.

• Ability to efficiently handle changing priorities and work well with other.

• Working ability with spreadsheets for data input, and to provide analytical summary.

• Proven ability to support/deliver project objectives on time in a team environment.

• Highly motivated and willingness to take the initiative for implementing continuous improvements and to achieve set goals and objectives.

Scope of the job:

To support the process for Receiving/Shipping customer repairs and maintaining inventory controls for spares and stocked items while ensuring shipment of repaired units to Intel Ronler Acres are processed without delay upon receipt which involves no receiving/shipping delays and coordinating delivery with dedicated carrier. To support resolving receiving/shipping issues related to customer returns, to ensure receipts pumps and spares. Shipment of finish products are cleared and processed to achieve desired turns and to avoid delays. Re-direct product shipment in the case of capacity constraints to another service center. Support inventory activities to ensure key performances indicators and company goals are achieved. Ensure process controls and procedures are being followed and updated as needed and changes are trained out and internal training plan is rolled out for each new hire.
