Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Your Role

The Warehouse Supervisor has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities and team members on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• You will ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• You will ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned and completed properly.
• Maintain product locator system and space use through warehouse consolidation.
• You will complete all necessary records and reports in an accurate fashion.
• Assure the integrity of the inventory and support cycle count inventories.
• Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining employee awareness of and compliance with the Kuehne + Nagel Quality,
• Safety & Health, Environment, and Security Management Systems, (QSHE).
• You will maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems as applicable and to KN's QSHE
• Management System.
• Help with internal and external QMS, Compliance, Customer, and Operational audits.
• Ensure required training is provided to all employees to support the QMS according to the Training Matrix.
• Update Work Instructions and Job Aids to support the QMS.
• Ensure that discrepancies are documented using the appropriate reporting systems

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-3+ years' experience in Logistics and supervisory roles.
• Lean six sigma or Kiazen knowledge
