The Warehouse night Forklift Operator is responsible for maintaining organized product replenishment and ensure a safe and clean work environment during the performance of various warehouse task. Job duties include:

• Perform let downs of product inventory into pick slots for selectors to pull for customer orders

• Daily replenishment of product inventory to ensure availability of stock

• Safely transport product through warehouse paths to and from pick slots

• Remove debris and clear pick slots prior to adding new product to slot area, ensuring proper rotation of product

• Verify product descriptions, UPC codes, and slot location when stocking

• Move inventory from overflow or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas as directed

• Ensure clearance of pallets and other debris from work area

• Segregate unusable pallets or bad pallets throughout work shift

• Follow operational and maintenance procedures to maximize the use of warehouse equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures

• Perform equipment checklist prior to beginning work shift

• Follow safe lifting procedures and the proper procedures for hand stacking products

• Identify and correct damaged or unstable pallets in pick/overflow slots

• Return equipment to appropriate in clean and operating fashion, ensuring batteries are recharged as needed

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED

• Must pass drug screen, physical exam, and a pass a motor vehicle and criminal background check

• Must be able to work Saturday mornings when needed

• Must be able to walk extensively and be able to stand for long periods of time (8 - 10 hours)

• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet, and legs

• Must be able to bend at the waist, stoop to reach into slot locations, and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner

• Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs repetitively and heavier items weighing up to 100 lbs occasionally

• Must be able to read slot numbers and product descriptions

• Must be able to work in multiple temperature zones (dry, cooler, and freezer)

• Prior forklift experience (1 year) is required

• Pallet jack (mid-rider) experience preferred but not required

• Food industry experience preferred

• Knowledge of warehouse RF system highly desired

Note: This a Night Position. Typical shift begins at 3PM until orders are completed. Must be available to work Sunday night to be considered for this position.
