Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Manages all activities related to operations and development of company resources.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Establishes distribution and quality control standards.

• Obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.

• Provides guidance regarding personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, and facility and equipment needs.

• Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.

• Coordinates activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum distribution and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

• Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of warehouse operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.

• Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.

• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Supervises employees and interns.

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED or higher

• Minimum 5 years experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• 7 years or equivalent combination of education and experience

REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• Maintain data related to production and personnel files.

• Personal computer skills

• Computer network skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Required to sit for up to 4 hours.

• Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel for up to 4 hours.

• Required to reach with hands and arms for up to 4 hours.

• Occasionally required to talk or hear.
