Warehouse Manager

Job Title: Warehouse Manager ($110,000 to $125,000 per year)

Location: Modesto Facility

Reports to: Plant Manager

Thrive Foods a rapidly growing freeze-dried company has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Manager in our Modesto facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, The Warehouse Manager is a key part of the leadership team.

Essential Functions Include:

Managing the supply chain operations at the production site(s), including logistics, warehousing, materials management, inventory control, and the inventory/replenishment of raw materials, all through our ERP system.

Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.

Supervises department employees, priorities, and productivity in a freeze-dried manufacturing warehouse environment: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Understands the incoming and outgoing shipments and item preparation process standards.

Ensures proper inventory, staging, and process flow of product throughout the facility. Must operate Forklift as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Include:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.

Minimum 3 years' experience supervising/managing a warehouse operation (preferably in a food manufacturing environment).

Must possess a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. An ability to think ahead, plan and prepare action plans to achieve results.

An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations. The possession of quality orientation and attention to detail, problem analysis and resolution. In addition to, strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities.

Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 20% or more sitting, 40% or more walking, and 40% or more standing.

Consistent and regular attendance.

The job is performed under frequent temperature variations and in a food manufacturing warehouse environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift to 30 lbs. is required.
