Warehouse Manager

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team.This Warehouse Operations Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a team responsible for all aspects of our medical equipment warehouse. You'll ensure smooth operations, maximize efficiency, and drive results that meet customer needs and boost profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

• Continuously improve warehouse processes to meet customer demands and optimize efficiency.

• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

• Manage carrier routings and vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and supplier management.

• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse efficiency per customer.

• Champion the Quality Management System (QMS) to enhance service offerings and secure new contracts.

• Implement and oversee warehouse safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

• Manage warehouse upkeep and maintenance to guarantee optimal functionality.

• Train staff on all aspects of their roles, including safety procedures and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO, Hazmat)

• Actively participate in management meetings, providing insightful reports and strategic recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in a medical products/equipment or medical warehouse environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations.

• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

• Experience with ISO regulatory requirements a plus.

• Understanding of Hazmat rules and procedures beneficial.

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel for reporting purposes.

• 3-5 years of experience operating material handling equipment (both powered and manual).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
