Immediate Warehouse Manager Opening – Lead and Elevate Warehouse Operations!

My client is looking for a driven and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their branch operations and drive logistics excellence. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring a smooth, safe, and highly efficient environment. This is a hands-on position where you’ll set the standard for a motivated team while continuously improving processes to meet and exceed our branch goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Warehouse Operations: Supervise all aspects of receiving, storing, dispatching, and managing merchandise. Oversee picking, packing, and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Implement and monitor health, safety, and operational policies, fostering a safe environment for all team members. Ensure equipment is used safely and efficiently, and that employees adhere to industry safety protocols.

• Drive Team Performance: Motivate, train, and manage the warehouse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Regularly assess performance, recognize achievements, and provide constructive feedback to promote employee growth.

• Inventory and Logistics Management: Keep accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with other departments to ensure optimal inventory levels. Oversee the efficient and timely handling of deliveries, both incoming and outgoing.

• Fleet and Equipment Oversight: Maintain awareness of fleet vehicles’ condition and location, and manage routine maintenance on warehouse equipment. Assist with local deliveries as needed to support branch goals.

• Operational Excellence: Develop and refine policies to streamline operations and improve logistical efficiency. Continuously seek and implement improvements to boost productivity, optimize layout, and support branch objectives.

• Maintain Clean and Organized Environment: Oversee the regular cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse, creating a clean and organized workspace that enhances safety and operational efficiency.

Requirements for Success:

• Warehouse Management Experience: Strong background in warehouse management and operations, with experience in logistics and inventory control.

• Outstanding Leadership Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and team-building abilities to effectively manage, train, and inspire a diverse team.

• Operational and Safety Knowledge:
  Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols, health standards, and best practices in managing warehouse equipment.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and customers.

• Proficiency in Technology: Competence in using warehouse management software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and experience with RF guns.

• Valid Driver’s License: Able to assist with local deliveries as needed, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and customer service.
