Warehouse Manager

Summary:

Supervises the field warehouse operation in a manner that provides maximum efficiency/ profitability for Forum, trouble-free equipment to customers and a safe working environment for employees. Leads medium-sized operation typically with more than 5 employees who receive, store, distribute and/or repair equipment or raw materials. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides finished products to customers by directing shipping/receiving, warehousing and distribution services.

• Will also serve as a NAVISON SME for the entire facility.

• Finished goods inventory.

• Implement cycle counting program to eliminate 2013 physical inventory count.

• Lead warehouse finished goods consolidation effort.

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

• Controls inventory levels.

• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, then following up on their work.

• Maintains warehouse staff jobs by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees: planning, monitoring and appraising job results.

Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge of product line(s) and customer requirements.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a field warehouse environment.
