We’re hiring a Warehouse Manager!

Our Interior Systems Division is looking for a Warehouse Manager for its manufacturing facility in Spring Hill, TN. The Warehouse Manager holds responsibility for overseeing the entire Plant's inventory accuracy and leading the shop floor teams. Additionally, they play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of production lines and customer shipments, maintaining cost performance within expected parameters, and managing all logistics activities within the plant.

You’ll work on challenges that matter!

This job will require you to:

  • Control logistics processes: (yard/exteriors management, receiving, delivery to lines, bookings, TPA preparation, alert management, follow up the follow the unloading, receipt and transportation of pieces, cycle counting audit in all warehouse locations under plant supervision) with strong relationship with material planners and master schedulers.

  • Identify and implement best practices Ensure full inventory accuracy through proper analysis in case of deviance.

  • Analyze, understand and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities, check that the sequencer and procurements are consistent with the PDP.

  • Ensure internal customer satisfaction: supervise day to day warehousing activities, anticipate resources on line with customer requirements (PIC/PDP), and manage impact of launch of new programs within the warehouse,

  • Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, handling utilization, HSE, alert management with strong support from PC&L improvement function as well as other plant functions (Quality, FES, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, Production, …).

  • Lead the warehouse logistics team and set objectives, ensure adequate staffing, training and development of team members.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

  • Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations.

  • Drive HSE process within UAP.

  • Drive improvement of working conditions and ergonomics within UAP.

  • Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.

  • Conform to requirements established in Fraser Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.

  • Ensure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant EMS requirements.

  • Support environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets.

The ideal candidate…

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of production and logistics experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 1-3 year team management experience

  • Operational knowledge of Production & Logistics continuous improvement methods (5S, Kanban, JNI stock segmentation, QRCI, alert system, HOSHIN, )

  • Operational knowledge of Plant's ERP system- Systems, Application & Products in Data Processing - SAP

  • Material Planning and/or Scheduling experience

Skills and Competencies:

  • Team Player

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Proficient level of English required
