Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily warehouse activities
Transportation and logistics experience a must.
Analyze and propose methods of sustained productivity increases.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse.
Ensure safe working conditions, including properly training employees on proper safety methods and assisting Human Resources with the management of worker compensation claims.
Audit various paperwork and postings for accuracy and compliance with appropriate local, state, and federal laws, statutes, and company policies.
Effectively counsel and manage employees on attendance, performance, and/or misconduct. Continuous employee training and development
Experience with WMS systems database for the purpose of measuring the pick accuracy and performance of employees (cycle count, bin walk, etc.)
Manage the maintenance and repairs of all warehouse equipment.
Familiar with Quality Assurance fundamentals (Inspection, MRB, Documentation)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
Six years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 years' experience in warehouse management in a distribution or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of local, state and federal OSHA safety regulations
Experience in forklift certification and inspection, hazmat certification, operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)
Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.
Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule with a "hands-on" management style.
Must be detail-orientated and a team player; excellent communication and organizational skills; driven to excel.
Leadership and decision-making skills
Intermediate computer skills (Sage X3 very helpful, Excel)
Experience with retail accounts that have compliance/routing guides.
Tillman California salary range: $85,000-$100,000 plus bonus eligibility based on experience, education, and geographic location.
