Reports to Branch Manager/RDC Manager


Responsible for all branch warehouse and logistics operations, including but not limited to implementation branch logistics plan, warehouse and delivery personnel management, inventory control, security/safety/housekeeping as well as all other functions necessary to meet and exceed branch customer service performance standards, and conduct hiring for warehouse.


  • Manage activities of warehouse and delivery personnel engaged in loading/unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving, and transporting of merchandise

  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipment activity. Work with sales and sales support personnel to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely customer service

  • Manage order routing process and inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications, security, and direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving dock to storage and work area

  • Manage and maintain all warehouse racking and equipment and the purchase of warehouse and trucking supplies

  • Set productivity standards for the warehouse and logistics operations and monitor standards through productivity reporting, performance reporting, and status reporting

  • Manage all warehouse and delivery personnel including, but not limited to staffing recommendations, training, evaluating, monitoring, rewarding, disciplining, and succession planning

  • Train all warehouse and delivery personnel on applicable business systems, including the use of the system features to improve accuracy and efficiency of all assigned processes

  • Maintain security of merchandise and equipment

  • Manage and maintain safety standards for all warehouse and delivery personnel

  • Manage all warehouse and delivery loss prevention programs

  • Optimize Route Schedule to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Manage all Logistic P/L Accounts and contract labor.

  • Improve Inventory accuracy and Inventory shortages.

Leads a team of hourly non-management Partners and provides coaching & leadership to entry level team leaders. Preferred Education and Experience * Bachelor-s Degree or minimum of 3 years related experience * Attendance and completion of Leadership & Development Classes as assigned Preferred Key Competencies * Advanced organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task and attention to detail * Advanced written and verbal communication skills; experience with presentation a plus * Advanced analytical and project management skills * Advanced negotiation and influencing skills * Advanced working knowledge of: industry, EEOC and Employment laws * Advanced knowledge of department level reports as assigned * Demonstrated proficiency with operating internal and external software systems at an intermediate level. * Advanced knowledge of operations of departmental programs.
