The Warehouse Maintenance Associate performs maintenance tasks to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and the building in good working condition.

Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains in proper working condition.

• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions

• Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment

• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary

Utilize various tools and equipment to perform maintenance of building and equipment

• Clear debris and dispose of trash in appropriate receptacles as required to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments, cutting torches and welding equipment, and electrical and electronic devices

Perform other duties as required to ensure the upkeep of the building and grounds

• Perform grounds maintenance duties

• Paint and repair roofs, windows, walls, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structure

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

• At least six months work experience in a maintenance role preferred

• Ability to read and interpret guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions

• Basic math skills, including, subtraction, fractions, and computing percentages

• Able to work in all warehouse temperature zones (Dry, Cooler, Freezer)

• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle and criminal background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screen

• Must be available on call as needed (Saturdays and off-hours)

Note: Typical work schedule is Sunday - Thursday from 12pm to 8pm. Must be available to work Saturdays or other hours if needed ours) to be considered for this position.
