Our Burnsville, MN operation is currently seeking a Warehouse Lead on 2nd shift.

  • Work hours are 4:00pm-12:30am plus overtime as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 1 year of previous warehouse experience.

  • Must be able to perform and meet qualifications/job requirements of Warehouse Associates 1, 2 & 3.

  • Excellent attention to detail and focus is a must to ensure accuracy and quality. Position requires an order accuracy rate of 97% or higher and a pick rate of 0.71 lines per minute.

  • Able to safely operate and become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, slip sheet attachment, walk-riders, electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks.

  • Able to communicate safety issues or concerns to supervisor.

  • Able to read, write and speak English; must also be able to communicate with Spanish-speaking employees.

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Able to operate basic office equipment including phones, copy machine, fax machine, & computers.

  • Flexible to changing customer or operational demands and able to work overtime on short notice. Position requires working until the job is complete.

  • Must be organized, cooperative and a team player.

  • Demonstrate interpersonal and supervision skills.

  • Familiar with, understand, abide by and able to enforce company/ department policies & procedures.

Primary Responsibilities Technical Tasks * Perform technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions. * Utilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers. * Ability to read schematics. * Perform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software. * Participate on project teams. * Perform task prioritization * Interacts with other functional groups (e.g. engineering, manufacturing) on routine technical matters. * Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required. Manufacturing Activities * Support activities through the resolution of problems and preparation and maintenance of documentation. * Manage work flow throughout area to achieve team goals. * Evaluate and troubleshoot non-conformances. * Fabricate hardware, equipment, tools or prototypes from drawings or sketches. * Estimate labor, material, and manufacturing costs for the building and repair of product or process enhancement. * Identify and correct minor process, material, design, or equipment Documentation * Provide accurate recording of time changes, test data, parts usage, etc. This requires limited data interpretation. * Utilize multiple databases to create/use necessary information to provide information for decision making requiring limited judgment. Technical Asset Management * Manage technical assets. * Requisition, manage, and maintain technical assets. Basic Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent * Two year technical degree and 0 years of experience or 3 years equivalent experience without a degree * Two years experience preferred. * Must have experience in troubleshooting and problem solving. * Production assembly experience preferred. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. * Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. * Must be highly motivated and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
