Description The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. is in search of a Warehouse Lead to join our Warehouse team. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for monitoring workflow through the warehouse department including task management, data capture, and safety practices. They are also responsible for leading the various levels of personnel which fluctuates significantly between off-peak and peak seasons.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the flow of materials being cleared from Receiving/QA and ensures product is put away in an orderly and timely fashion.

  • Facilitates physical product moves from Back to Front locations utilizing existing Bin Replenishment System and ensures accurate and timely updates to that system.

  • Responsible for processing all transfer requests to the established standard and ensuring inventory adjustments due to inventory inaccuracies and damages are performed as needed and in a timely fashion.

  • Responsible for maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment as well as associated training programs.

  • Responsible for adherence to the Vermont Teddy Bear Company's inventory control policies and procedures.

  • Adhere to peak vacation blackout periods and extended hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, high-level organizational and interpersonal skills, and prior experience operating heavy equipment. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 70 pounds, and possess a valid driver's license with good driving record. HS Diploma or equivalent and five years general warehouse experience required.

Maintains positive client and station personnel relationships. 20% Prospect new business opportunities in your territory, both B2C and B2B, through regular outreach to new clients and advertising agencies with face to face meetings, presentations, events, entertainment and other related efforts. 10% Develop integrated media plans and support materials working collaboratively with internal MNI team including; planning, marketing, research, account management and ad-ops teams. 10% Utilizes available published information about each assigned or prospective advertiser and their industry in order to approach advertiser with an educated sensitivity.
