We are hiring a Warehouse Lead for our Greensboro dealership.
The Warehouse Lead performs the necessary duties to ensure the successful operation of the warehouse. This person is responsible for the overall management and administration of the warehouse which includes all warehouse and asset management, all asset storage products, pre-sold products, administration area, loading dock, equipment storage, records storage, and staging areas, as well as managing a customer's inventory at a second warehouse location. This is a position that may be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Skills needed for this position include organization, guidance, training, quality control, spreadsheet, word processing, and warehousing. Good oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational and warehousing skills are required.
Primary Responsibilities
Determine material and equipment needs; coordinate, maintain, and return equipment to storage.
Responsible for overall management and administration of the warehouse.
Responsible for overall management of asset and records storage business.
Problem resolution.
Snap Tracker and Total Recall Administration.
Inventory Control.
Evaluating opportunities for continuous improvement.
Setting and measuring goals and objectives.
Inventory control, warehouse care, and maintenance.
Maintain customer's inventory and product pulls at a second site.
General Responsibilities
Provide daily job status to Operations Manager
Maintain professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Maintain company procedures, policies, dress code, and safety procedures with crew at all times.
Ensure orders are pulled and properly loaded.
Ensure all products are properly received.
Maintain courteous and responsive report with vendors.
Plan and communicate daily work assignments to team.
Other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager
Education and/or Experience
Previous Warehouse Management experience.
Heavy lifting (80 pounds), moving, unloading, etc... as required of an installer.
Bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, crouching, crawling.
Ability to use personal vehicle to travel to customer facility periodically.
This is a position that may be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
On time attendance at work and all meetings.
Responsible for 1/2 of the purchase price of safety shoes. Valid North Carolina (or other state issued) driver's license required.
Must be Trained and certified in First Aid or be willing to be trained.
Must be willing to get the Flu shot each year.
