Pentair currently has an opening for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead to join our team at our Roseville, MN location. In this role, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible and accountable for the effective, efficient, accurate, and safe receipt and storage of products received at Roseville or intercompany transfers of product to New Brighton. The Warehouse Lead will demonstrate leadership in attaining department goals, objectives, productivity and quality targets, safety
and drives continuous improvement. The hours for this role are from 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday through Friday.

You will:
Update and track work center and value stream MDI metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and Culture)
Coach team members on standard work, MDI Metrics and overall work flow
Utilize SAP reports for delivery, cost (efficiency), and parts lookup
Support production and material flow to ensure processes run smoothly and uninterrupted
Contribute to business development and planning for defined cells and/or value stream
Support human resources by:
Communicating safety hazards and improvement ideas to team
Supporting the daily functions and core HR Operations for team member relations, labor relations and risk, hiring and staffing, pay, scheduling, timekeeping, talent management, development and team engagement
Staying current on all available resources, including company communication, to deliver an exceptional team member experience
Responding to team member questions and concerns promptly and courteously, directing them to appropriate resources and leaders for escalation, if needed
Following company procedures related to HR processes and handling confidential information
Fostering an inclusive, diverse, safe and empowered work culture.
Support safety by:
Communicating safety hazards and improvement ideas to team
Participating in safety awareness programs
Completing hazard identification cards (Hazard, Near Miss, Property Damage, First Aid, Injury)
Updating tier safety cross daily
Ensuring that the team completes two safety observations quarterly
Support quality by:
Understanding and training in accordance with the Quality Policy and ISO 9001 requirements
Following the quality escalation procedure in-case of on-the-line issues which need to be escalated to a cross functional team or manager
Utilizing and coaching team members on the red-tag process and how to identify non-conforming material
Reviewing Quality metric on MDI at Tier I meeting in the morning
Support delivery by:
Attending weekly 5 day schedule meetings, applying and communicating outcomes to work center
Aligning daily resources to meet the 5 day schedule
Highlighting daily material issues and working with necessary departments to create the short and long term solution to the issues
Escalating unresolved issues and opportunities affecting production to plant staff during GEMBA walk
Recommending overtime to meet demand
Reviewing delivery metric on MDI at Tier I meeting in the morning
Support cost and cash by:
Making tactical decisions on where staffing is placed based on business priorities for that day
Reviewing Cost/Efficiency metric on MDI at Tier I meeting in the morning
Applying lean principles to minimize waste
Processing scrap correctly
Reviewing cash metric on MDI at Tier I meeting in the morning
You should:
Have earned at least a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Be a leader and enjoy training employees
Be comfortable working in an ERP System (SAP, MFG, PRO, M2K)
Have intermediate experience working in Excel
Demonstrate problem solving skills and have experience working towards defined targets and or goals
Have experience with lean manufacturing methodologies
We like, but don't require:
Associates degree or coursework towards Bachelor's Degree preferred
Advanced knowledge of SAP
Additional Information:
Physical requirements are standing, walking, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds, and with help occasionally up to 100 pounds.
