Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Inventory Management Attendant in Antioch, TN

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $16.00 per hour
• This position also has an after-hours requirement. The candidate will be on call approximately 1 week per month. Additional compensation will be given for afterhours activities
• Schedule: First Shift

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude which includes the following: Ability to use programs such as Outlook and Excel to track shipments and data entry
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• Ability to select and pack items for orders
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to work with personal accountability and minimal supervision

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.+ Participate in physical inventories as necessary.+ Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.+ Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.+ Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.+ Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
