Warehouse Fleet Manager

Job Description Job Description Job Description: The Warehouse Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's fleet operations within the warehouse environment.

This includes managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, optimizing vehicle utilization, and coordinating maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of fleet management principles. Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of the warehouse fleet, including trucks, forklifts, and other vehicles. Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of drivers and fleet maintenance staff.

Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to standards. Foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the fleet team. Inventory Management:

Coordinate with warehouse management to ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements. Collaborate with inventory control staff to minimize discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintenance and Repairs:

Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles. Manage relationships with external service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses.

Budget Management: Assist in the development of the fleet budget and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the fleet operations.

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisor role. Possession of a valid Class A CDL. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Benefits:
