Bradenton location as a Warehouse teammate. Our team has been servicing the Bradenton/Sarasota community for over 40 years. We are a close-knit group that works together to provide the best service to both new and existing customers.

Warehouse teammates are responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material, stocking and maintaining the warehouse, and picking, documenting, and packing customer orders. As a Warehouse teammate with Hajoca your specific duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive, count, and verify incoming shipments

  • Stock the warehouse and maintain cleanliness, order and safety

  • Pick materials for orders, assemble and package the materials for shipment/pick up

  • Load/unload trucks and operate a forklift safely

  • Monitor inventory levels and stock depletions that could impact customer service

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.

All interested applicants must possess:

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • 1 years warehouse or material handling experience

  • The ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment

  • Know of, apply, and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills

  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Have, or quickly develop, a comprehensive knowledge of product

  • Possess basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word)

  • Have previous experience using an inventory management system (Eclipse)

  • Possess the drive to assist team members with other tasks as required

Established in 1955, The Cook & Boardman Group, LLC ("C&B") is a privately-owned technical services business and specialty distributor. C&B is the nation's leading distributor of architectural hardware, doors, doorframes, and related building products for non-residential building applications throughout the United States. Summary Driver delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials. Not a CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law. Warehouse Associates helps ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Operation Manager. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills, experience working in a warehouse and pulling inventory for shipments. Attention to detail will be necessary. Specific Job Duties Listed Below: * Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) * Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery * Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures * Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed * Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization * Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers * Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment * Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations * Working in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations * Load finished product onto truck * Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager regarding the warehouse or deliveries * Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders Minimum Qualifications * Minimum Education High School diploma or GED * Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware * Clean driving record and current operator's license * Ability to pass yearly DOT physical * Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Knowledge Skills and Abilities * Experience driving trucks for delivery * Forklift certification preferred * Good communication skills and proper use of company issued devices * Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms * Ability to work closely & cordially with other staff associates Physical Demands Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day. Ability to lift 5-50 pounds frequently and ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to live greater than 50 pounds on occasion.
