OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the overall supervision and effective operation of the shipping, receiving and inventory areas by performing the following duties.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises, assists and coordinates activities of the warehouse personnel engaged in verifying and maintaining records for incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, and ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet established shipping and receiving schedules.

  • Utilizes knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates

  • Oversees and performs incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments to include lifting and carrying materials.

  • Reviews records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

  • Posts weights and shipping charges to appropriate records, and prepares bills of lading in an accurate manner.

  • Freight preparation: Creating bill of Landings, Labeling cartons with standard non EDI or UCC 128 shipping labels, Packing Slips, create; stage, label and stretch wrap pallets/skids.

  • Reports any discrepancies in orders to appropriate individuals.

  • Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner.

  • Oversees all warehouse activities and ensures employees are trained and health and safety compliant.

  • Directs and supervises all department employees to ensure goals are established for the warehouse area.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Provide service & support to all our internal customers i.e. Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, Production, ETC.

  • Create, receive & send EDI trough our EDI provider (True Commerce) accurate and on time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years experience with a proven track record in managing the entire warehouse process

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent

  • Flexible/adaptable in a fast paced environment

  • Provides guidance and direction to warehouse department employees to assist them in their professional development

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management and project management skills are desired

  • Detail Oriented, Quick learner, Efficient & Organized.

  • Ability to ship Purchase Orders within shipping windows.

Salary Range: The pay range of this position is $130k - $150k. Actual salary will be determined based off candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and additional company benefits
