The Warehouse Clerk receives, unpacks, checks, and stores equipment and supplies.


  • Packages and prepares equipment and supplies prior to distribution.

  • Fills orders by preparing supplies to be distributed to patients.

  • Processes paperwork for distribution of equipment and supplies.

  • Ensures distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms and packaging slips are completed accurately.

  • Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.

  • Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, clean and safe manner.

  • Reports stock levels to supervisor.

  • Assists with the ordering of equipment and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.

  • Assists in completing periodic inventory count.

  • Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment.

  • Performs minor equipment repair and maintenance as required. Maintains files on all equipment.

  • Acts as back-up to delivery employees when necessary.

  • May deliver equipment to home healthcare patients.

  • May set up and instruct patients on the basic use of their medical equipment, as approved or allowed by local and state licensure limitations.

  • Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.

  • May perform other delivery duties as assigned.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Meets company minimum standard of Background Check.

  • Pass the Department of Transportation Physical.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • At least one year of related work experience is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and standards of accrediting body.

  • Current MVR must meet company minimum standards


  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to multi-task effectively.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and electronically.

  • Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management

Computer Skills

  • Ability to use electronic hand held device.

Education and/or Experience

  • Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulations

  • Knowledge of Home Healthcare industry

  • Two years inventory management

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

  • CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement

  • Microsoft Office programs

  • Inventory management software

Other Skills

  • Previous interaction with the general public in a service management industry.

The Customer Care Specialist serves as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone, email or in person. The incumbent is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all members/customers, both external and internal. The Retail Shop Clerk assists customers in the selection of merchandise; demonstrate and describe merchandise when needed. Maintains accurate inventory control and sales records (manual or computer). Prepares and calls in purchase orders with the approval of the Manager of Retail Shops. Answers phones in a positive and helpful manner. Greets visitors and provides assistance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Customer Care Specialist * Supports functions of a multi-channel contact center. * Answers incoming calls/requests; engages in problem solving and provides solutions; manages and responds appropriately to all inquiries including but not limited to email, phone and walk-in customers. * Maintains a customer-centric environment in public areas of council facilities. * Provides high quality customer service. * Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external customers. * Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, locating and delivering findings. * Maintains contact center database by entering information accurately and quickly. * Enhances organization reputation by providing a positive customer experience for all those contacted, either in person or by phone. * Manages processes that include, but are not limited to, office equipment management and office supply stocking * Supports administrative functions. * Provides back-up administrative support across all departments as needed which may include the production of written materials and reports (copying, assembling, etc.), filing, data entry (i.e. program evaluations, data cleaning queries), equipment check-out, and front desk staffing, office supply stocking, and business machine management. Retail Shop Clerk * Assist customers in the selection of merchandise; demonstrate and describe merchandise when needed. Explain correct usage of uniform and insignia. * Operate P.O.S. system (computer or register) and process checks, bank drafts, and cash, following shop procedures. Open and close Girl Scout shop. Prepare, reconcile, and deliver bank deposits to the bank on a weekly basis. Prepare and deliver cash sheets and deposit records to manager weekly. * Maintain accurate inventory control and sales records (manual or computer). * Ordering inventory stock to maintain proper levels on hand and Submitting purchase orders. * Maintain attractive displays of merchandise and update seasonal hot zones as directed by Retail Manager or Retail Lead * Receive price, stock, and store incoming merchandise. * Maintain good public relations with customers; refer suggestions to supervisor. * May be assigned occasionally for retail shop coverage at other retail locations. * Participate in monthly Retail Team meetings via zoom or telephone Skills Required: * Basic level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general data entry. * General math skills - ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, and sales tax * Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented. Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, prioritize work and handle last minute demands appropriately. * Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and grammar skills. * Proven success with working in a team environment. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without constant supervision. * Excellent telephone, communication, written and grammatical skills. * High level of customer service skills are required to handle various member issues. Education, Work Experience, & Certifications: * Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: * High School Diploma; some college preferred. * Minimum Experience required: * Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience along with excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette. * Non-profit experience and/or membership experience a plus. * Experience using Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus. * Additional Requirements: * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. * Occasional travel may be required. * Minimum License, Certifications & Affiliations/Memberships and CEU's * Valid California driver's license and an insured vehicle in good working order. * Must successfully complete a criminal history background check * Ability to operate council vehicles as needed.
