TDX is a regional wholesaler of tires and tire-related products.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse / Backup Driver.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately receives, counts, and verifies incoming shipments.

  • Stocks warehouse and maintain cleanliness, order and safety.

  • Operates forklift.

  • Accurately picks materials for orders, stages and/or packages materials for shipment/pick up.

  • Loads/unloads tires to/from trucks.

  • Monitors inventory levels and stock depletions.

  • Safely operates all necessary equipment in work areas.

  • Delivers product to customers or other locations/sites following set routes.

  • Operates & maintains assigned company vehicles in a safe manner.

  • Follows company procedures including accurately receive, reconcile and account for all payments according to applicable credit terms and managing any customer returns.

  • Acts in a professional manner at all times while delivering superior customer service.

  • Works productively in an individual and team environment.

  • Is able to safely operate a commercial delivery van and/or truck and be insurable under the company insurance carrier.

  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Company policies and procedures.

  • Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage immediately. Fuel truck as needed.

  • Performs other duties as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience safely operating a commercial vehicle (up to 24 box truck).

  • Possess a valid Class C drivers license / Clean driving record.

  • Operate a vehicle under a DOT fleet license.

  • Customer Service experience.

  • Diligent, reliable and consistent attendance/performance.

  • Forklift (to be certified).

  • Withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
