TDX is a regional wholesaler of tires and tire-related products.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse / Backup Driver.
Accurately receives, counts, and verifies incoming shipments.
Stocks warehouse and maintain cleanliness, order and safety.
Accurately picks materials for orders, stages and/or packages materials for shipment/pick up.
Loads/unloads tires to/from trucks.
Monitors inventory levels and stock depletions.
Safely operates all necessary equipment in work areas.
Delivers product to customers or other locations/sites following set routes.
Operates & maintains assigned company vehicles in a safe manner.
Follows company procedures including accurately receive, reconcile and account for all payments according to applicable credit terms and managing any customer returns.
Acts in a professional manner at all times while delivering superior customer service.
Works productively in an individual and team environment.
Is able to safely operate a commercial delivery van and/or truck and be insurable under the company insurance carrier.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage immediately. Fuel truck as needed.
Performs other duties as necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
2+ years experience safely operating a commercial vehicle (up to 24 box truck).
Possess a valid Class C drivers license / Clean driving record.
Operate a vehicle under a DOT fleet license.
Customer Service experience.
Diligent, reliable and consistent attendance/performance.
Forklift (to be certified).
Strong work ethic
