Job Summary
Supports the operation functions of wire cutting in the warehouse. Runs the wire machine and maximizes cuts per reel. Identifies specific wire based on reel labels and maintains batch codes. Identifies top and bottom footages on cuts completed. Updates and maintains the wire cut log and daily wire machine inspection sheets. Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received. Fills orders for delivery to customers. Follow up with appropriate departments for wire-material damages and shortages.

Qualifications
Two-year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience.
Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
If the employee will be driving, the following criteria must be met -
candidate must be at least 21 years of age,
possess a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle and current medical certification may be required.
PC working knowledge for Windows, Internet, email and SAP software is a plus.
