This role is responsible for executing warehouse and delivery operations and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Some of the functions the Warehouse Associate will perform:

  • Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own It

  • Ensures that our customers receive their furniture in perfect working condition

  • Unpacks trailer merchandise and store merchandise

  • Assists with scanning as needed

  • Preps daily pick-up merchandise and the next day's deliveries

  • Assists with staging furniture for customers

  • Assists with merchandising the show room floor

  • Assists Warehouse Leader with quality assurance

  • Pulls merchandise from stock and stages it for delivery

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Willing to submit to physical capability test

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Track record of serving others and putting team goals first

  • Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility

  • Embody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the job

  • Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems

  • Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment

  • Desire to continuously improve

Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for coordinating warehouse activities of the depot including receiving, loading, warehouse cleanliness and fleet upkeep and maintenance. Position Description As a Warehouse Associate with Restaurant Technologies, you'll play a critical role in setting our service and distribution teams up for success on daily routes and customer calls. Your contribution in loading/unloading delivery trucks and insuring service vans are stocked appropriately will help contribute to the depot and company goal attainment. Key Responsibilities * Picks, processes, and packages material called out on Sales Order/Pick Ticket * Fleet upkeep including cleanliness, stocking and loading of trucks * Maneuvering trucks around the warehouse/Depot * Ensures product is labeled and packaged according to RT specifications * Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat; comply with procedures, rules and regulations Position Requirements * Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license * 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred * A clean driving record, CDL preferred but not required * Ability to work variety of day, weekend and/or overnight shift (specific schedule will be discussed upon interview) * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals * No major violations within the past 5 years (including but not limited to): * DUI * Driving while suspended/revoked * Excessive Speed * Reckless/Careless Driving * Distracted Driving * Improper Lane Change WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE APPLICANTS: Please click on this link to complete the DOT application!
