This role is responsible for executing warehouse and delivery operations and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Some of the functions the Warehouse Associate will perform:

  • Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own It

  • Ensures that our customers receive their furniture in perfect working condition

  • Unpacks trailer merchandise and store merchandise

  • Assists with scanning as needed

  • Preps daily pick-up merchandise and the next day's deliveries

  • Assists with staging furniture for customers

  • Assists with merchandising the show room floor

  • Assists Warehouse Leader with quality assurance

  • Pulls merchandise from stock and stages it for delivery

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Willing to submit to physical capability test

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Track record of serving others and putting team goals first

  • Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility

  • Embody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the job

  • Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems

  • Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment

Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. Responsible for receiving and stocking of purchase orders. Responsibilities * Assists with problem resolution involving discrepancies between quantity ordered, received, and/or shipped. * Performs daily cycle counts and investigates discrepancies. * Pulls parts, material, or finished goods from inventory for shipment or production per written instructions. Counts/weighs and records number of units and enters into computer on manual documentation. Keeps accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material, parts, and/or finished goods. * Determines size and type of container needed for shipping. May use hand and/or power tools to assemble shipping crates according to customer and company specifications. Inserts product into bags/ containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding per customer and company specifications. * Loads and unloads material from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and with material handling equipment. Stocks inventory according to established safety and operating procedures. Verifies correct bin location. Creates new inventory locations and labels as needed.
