Job Summary:
Responsible, at various points, for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting
and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse.
Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and
productively with little supervision. Individuals must follow U.S. Lumber safety
policies and procedures at all times.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders
and transporting material.
Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct
location and organized, swept floors.

Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
Follow U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do
the same. This includes performing daily forklift safety checklists.
Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products
Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec Industrial Saw
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Accurately pull daily orders.
Other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Physical Job Requirements:
o Requires the ability to consistently, and often, lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

merchandise themselves
o Requires recognizing, identifying and using merchandise and necessary
reports.
Environmental Job Requirements:
temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing uneven walking surfaces.
Warehouse environment can be dusty and noisy.
Fluctuations of temperature are common; some outdoor exposure during the
workday.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones

Required credentials:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required.
Must have basic math and analytical skills
Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Team Lead/Shift supervisor experience is preferred.
Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
