Hey, we're Article. We're a digital-first furniture brand that's re-engineering the furniture experience one sofa at a time. We don't have brick and mortar stores, so we're able to deliver remarkable value on beautiful, modern furniture. Because of this, we're growing like crazy and we need a few more hands on deck. We are looking for Warehouse Staff to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.

The warehouse department stores all the furniture inventory that needs to be shipped out. Warehouse staff are responsible for:

  • Picking and packing furniture
  • Loading and unloading trucks for deliveries
  • Moving stock around the warehouse.
  • Processes returned items, cleaning or otherwise preparing it to be returned to stock
  • During peak periods, possibly assist with delivering a variety of furniture items into the homes and businesses of our amazing customers.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be fun, a fast learner, able to follow instructions, and is reliable and accountable.

  • This position involves heavy lifting. You must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs on a regular basis so you don't hurt yourself
  • Able to stand up during most of the shift
  • Able to use computers and other technology devices
  • Capable of working safely at all times
  • Experience not necessary, but would be considered a bonus
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate accurately distributes product to routes, loading and unloading trailers and verifying load(s) prior to distributing product. Job Requirements Qualifications: * Education: High School Education or equivalent preferred. * Experience: 1-3 Years of relevant shipping experience preferred. * A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted. * Strong reading, math and people skills. * Must be well organized and computer literate. * Be able to lift 20 lbs over head to a height of 92 inches. * Must be able to read, write, and speak English. * Must be able to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
