Warehouse Floor Department Lead
Responsible for completion of assigned department activities while achieving productivity targets as set forth by facility leadership. Departments could include receiving, picking, packing, shipping or Amazon order processing.
The Warehouse associate- Material Handler 1 is responsible for completing daily tasks that may include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, facility cleanliness and department organization while maintaining a safe work environment.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and complete order filling activities
Maintains acceptable level of attendance based on company attendance policy
Performs other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Less than one year of related experience
18 years of age or older
Ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to apply appropriate safety procedures and equipment to protect company and customer assets, and to apply appropriate
use of personal protective equipment
Ability to learn technological processes
Open to change and the ability to effectively implement change quickly
Ability to work well with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results and convey a positive image of the company in
all actions and behaviors
Basic math skills
Ability to be exposed to unavoidable variations in temperature, fumes, noise and dust due to warehouse conditions
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to constantly twist, turn, reach outward,, and walk; frequently crawl, reach above shoulder, and
stand; and occasionally climb
