Your Day-to-Day:

As a professional representative of the La-Z-Boy name and brand, you'll use exceptional customer service and technical knowledge of our products/services to build rapport with customers and help them with their after delivery service needs. Doing so effectively will ensure you are a key contributor to La-Z-Boy's success, as after delivery services are an extension of delivering an amazing client experience. Because of your daily work, La-Z-Boy will maintain existing, long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales and profitability.\u00A0

The Nitty Gritty:

Below are some of the things you'll be doing every day:

  • \u00A0Assist with unboxing and loading of product
  • \u00A0Comply with all safety regulations established by the company
  • \u00A0Comply with all safety regulations established by the company
  • \u00A0Work in a team atmosphere and help out when your team is in need
  • \u00A0Travel to customers home as needed via company vehicle
  • \u00A0Other duties as assigned including assisting with offsite warehouse duties as needed

  • High School graduate\u00A0

  • Clean and pleasant manner and appearance

  • Required Licensure: Valid Driver's License

  • Ability to move and lift heavy furniture up to 200lbs within the warehouse

  • Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.

  • The employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Secure loads for transportation as appropriate. Secondary: * Maintain utilized work areas, equipment and tools to promote a safe and clean environment. * Other duties and special projects as assigned. * Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety regulations. Use all safety equipment necessary. Technical Training: * Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and the general public. * Professional phone and customer service skills. * Ability to be certified and skilled in forklift operation. * Math skills for critical measurement. * Able to operate small machines and tools. * Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize other company authorized software. * Knowledge of CAT equipment/components/parts Experience: * Driven a motor vehicle with a valid license for more than three (3) years. * Certified and able to operate a lift truck. Work Environment: * Shop/warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt and noise. * Field environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust, dirt and noise. * Occasional travel and overnight stays. Physical / Mental Abilities: * Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with position and responsibilities. * Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to work with minimum supervision. * Stand/walk 1-4 hours a day, and/or sit 5-6 hours a day. * Occasionally lift 80 - 100 lbs.
