About the Role:
Responsible for the internal coordination and delivery of raw materials across production lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect finished goods from production lines and validate work orders prior to closeout in DSI system. This includes the following:
Collect pallet from conveyor and transport to staging area for the packaging team to reconcile pallet with the work order.
Receive the pallet of finished goods (~15 mins) from production and scan pallet to close work order in E1 system.
Inspect the pallet and validate that the pallet has the correct label/s, and correct quantity.
Shrink wrap pallet and transport to shipping area using the appropriate equipment.
Provide daily support (3-4x/day) across all production lines (mixing, filling, case packing) by gathering raw materials and supplies needed to fulfill production volumes.
Perform daily cycle counts (2x/day) to validate physical inventory against inventory reflected in system (E1).
Conduct 5S daily to ensure that work and surrounding area is well organized, clean, and safe.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3+ months of experience working in a Warehouse
Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Operator certification
Skills (Technical):
Operate forklift, elevating platform, drum grapple, and other lifting devices
Operate hand tools such as saw, drill, etc.
Skills (Interpersonal):
Effective communication across all departments
Ability to multi-task while managing time effectively
Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and move items or boxes up to 30lbs (~50% of the time) and boxes up to 50lbs from time-to-time (less than 1% of time).
