Warehouse Associate Shipping, Warehousing, and Receiving

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a 2nd shift (12 - 8pm) Warehouse Associate. If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and receiving, coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

  • Pull and prepare orders for shipment

  • Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material

  • Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times

Qualifications

A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred. A successful Warehouse Associate will possess the following:

  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

  • Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it

  • General computer skills for basic data entry

  • Forklift Operator experience required

The Attorney will work closely with executives in numerous SEI business teams and corporate services department, including the Workforce Development team, with respect to SEI's employment issues ensuring that SEI and its subsidiaries adhere to applicable standards and procedures. In addition, the Attorney will deal directly with third parties, such as clients and vendors, while representing SEI's interests. The Attorney will be resident in SEI's Oaks, Pennsylvania office and a member of the Legal & Compliance Department. The Attorney will report to the General Counsel. The Attorney will be expected to work approximately 20-25 hours per week on an annualized average per year basis. SEI is willing to explore a flexible (but not exclusive) work from home opportunity. Responsibilities The Attorney's primary responsibilities will be: * Counseling internal stakeholders with respect to the handling of employment-related issues and the risk and business issues that arise in employment matters * Participating in various activities related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and third party risk management * Drafting, negotiating and advising stakeholders with respect to employment-related agreements, including employment agreements, non-disclosure and non-competition agreements, severance agreements and settlement agreements * Educating internal clients with respect to best practices * Advising with respect to the resolution of employment-related issues * Managing contested unemployment insurance claims, discrimination complaints from fair employment practice agencies and outside counsel in litigation related to employment matters, * Understanding and applying the relevant legal and regulatory requirements and standards * Managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects * Assisting with the review, design and implementation of employment-related training programs * Assisting with policy and procedure drafting and review Expectations Each member of the SEI Legal & Compliance department is expected to consistently demonstrate the following fundamental characteristics: * Hardworking * Smart * Effective * Solution-Oriented * Team Player * High Integrity/Ethics * Good Communicator/Listener * Sound Judgment * Dedicated to Self-Improvement Position Requirements Job Requirements * Self-Aware * Open-Minded * Thoughtful Required Experience: To be considered candidates must demonstrate the following to the satisfaction of SEI: * Law degree from accredited U.S. law school * Current Pennsylvania bar admission * Significant substantive knowledge of employment law * Experience investigating and/or advising on investigations of employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and policy violations * Experience with Pennsylvania employment law, including employment litigation experience * Ability to effectively prioritize work and business needs * Comfort with a dynamic, often-changing environment * Detail oriented, flexible and a collaborative team player * A high degree of multi-tasking capability * Three professional references General Position Notices Travel may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside.
