We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team at De La Rue Authentication Solutions in Logan, Utah. This is an opportunity to work on a team that provides some of the most secure brand-protection features and anti-counterfeiting solutions to companies and governments throughout the world.
The Warehouse Associate is part of a small team responsible for maintaining the efficient movement and warehousing of parts between departments within the company. This includes the movement of inventory, raw goods, work-in-process, and finished product.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform basic warehouse tasks such as stocking raw materials for production, picking materials for shipments, and replenishing floor stock items following standard operating procedure (SOPs). The use of equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, etc. will be utilized in the daily duties of these tasks.
Process all inbound deliveries including UPS/FedEx, LTL, local deliveries (including vendor deliveries).
Maintain the efficient movement and warehousing of parts between departments within the company. This includes the movement of inventory, raw goods, work-in-process, and finished product.
Assist in the processing of outbound shipments including properly loading and securing equipment for safe transport.
Ensure the production manager is informed of serious and/or ongoing issues so they may be addressed and resolved.
Assist with inventory maintenance.
Maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Work safely and follow all De La Rue policies and standard operating procedures.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and values.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Must be age 18 or older
Ability to lift over 50 pounds
Prior experience working as a laborer, preferably in a warehouse
Experience with a forklift, with forklift certification highly preferred
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
Basic computer skills with ability to enter data with accuracy
Ability to schedule and prioritize shipping flow according to production and shipping requirements and maintain a safe, efficient work environment
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and to work quickly to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time
Ability to work through shipping problems with freight forwarders and 3rd Party Logistic providers
Ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers, vendors, and customers
Strong commitment to safety
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision
Ability to maintain good attendance and punctuality
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
You can expect the work to be physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others.
In the warehouse, there is a presence of heavy machinery, moving equipment, and potentially hazardous materials
You must be fully mobile to perform routine duties that require standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and other physical movement. You will frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and with the help of others and equipment, lift or move objects weighing thousands of pounds.
It is essential that you are able to see clearly and hear well to operate equipment safely.
You will work indoors mostly, but there will be some exposure to outside weather conditions.
