We are considered a leading off-the-shelf T-cell immunotherapy company (Nasdaq ATRA) developing novel treatments for patients with cancer, autoimmune and viral diseases.Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment for Clinical & Commercial Distribution.Location Thousand Oaks, CAReports to Manager, Warehouse & Distribution OperationsPrimary Responsibilities * Processes Goods Receipts for GMP POs * Receipts, Inspects Releases, puts away, inventory moves, cycle counts, run expiry reports * Transfers all bulk, intermediates and samples * Perform Clinical Distribution duties per SOP and batch records * Packs out shipments * Picks raw & intermediate materials and deliver to MFG as needed * Picks replenishes MRO items for MFG suites daily * Processes all inbound non-GMP shipments (supplies, research samples, equipment). * Delivers packages to end users (cubicles, offices, labs)Travel: Domestic travel may be required (Physical Requirements * Work is generally performed in a cGMP manufacturing facility * Subject to extended periods of sitting, walking or standing on concrete flooring * The position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around the facility * Must be physically capable of climbing, kneeling, stooping, lifting and bending. * Must be able to frequently lift of 16-30 lbs and occasionally lift 50+ lbsProfessional Qualifications * Experience operating small warehouse equipment including pallet jacks * Has worked in work in a clean room environment and able to wear special garments and personal protective equipment (safety shoes, safety glasses, respirator, etc.) due to safety requirements in specific areas* ERP system knowledge * Role model for Atara's valuesEducation and Experience * High school diploma or GED is required* 3 or more years or warehouse experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment* cGMP & cGDP experience * Valid forklift certification * Ability to effective use Microsoft program such as Word, Excel and Outlook * Effective verbal and written communication skillsMore About Atara BioNow in our sixth year, we're proud of our team of 300+ Atarians co-located by design in South San Francisco (corporate headquarters) and Southern California (R&D and manufacturing headquarters in the northwest Los Angeles area) with a newly-established European headquarters in Zug, Switzerland. Atara's T-cell immunotherapies are designed to precisely recognize and eliminate cancerous or diseased cells without affecting normal, healthy cells.Atara's most advanced T-cell immunotherapy in development, tabelecleucel, or tab-cel (formerly known as ATA129), is being developed for the treatment of patients with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) associated post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (EBV+ PTLD) who have failed rituximab, as well as other EBV-associated hematologic and solid tumors, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Tab-cel is in Phase 3 clinical development for the treatment of EBV+ PTLD following an allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant (MATCH study) or solid organ transplant (ALLELE study).Atara is also developing off-the-shelf, allogeneic ATA188 and autologous ATA190 T-cell immunotherapies using a complementary targeted antigen recognition technology for specific EBV antigens believed to be important for the potential treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). A Phase 1 clinical study of autologous ATA190 in patients with progressive MS is ongoing. Atara is also advancing a Phase 1 clinical study of ATA188 in patients with progressive or relapsing-remitting MS across clinical sites in the United States and Australia.
