Hey, we're Article. We're a digital-first furniture brand that's re-engineering the furniture experience one sofa at a time. We don't have brick and mortar stores, so we're able to deliver remarkable value on beautiful, modern furniture. Because of this, we're growing like crazy and we need a few more hands on deck. We are looking for Warehouse Staff to join our team in Sumner, WA.

The warehouse department stores all the furniture inventory that needs to be shipped out. Warehouse staff are responsible for:

  • Picking and packing furniture
  • Loading and unloading trucks for deliveries
  • Moving stock around the warehouse.
  • Processes returned items, cleaning or otherwise preparing it to be returned to stock
  • During peak periods, possibly assist with delivering a variety of furniture items into the homes and businesses of our amazing customers.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be fun, a fast learner, able to follow instructions, and is reliable and accountable.

  • This position involves heavy lifting. You must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs on a regular basis so you don't hurt yourself
  • Able to stand up during most of the shift
  • Able to use computers and other technology devices
  • Capable of working safely at all times
  • Experience not necessary, but would be considered a bonus
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: * High-energy individual with a strong work ethic * Electric Pallet jack or Forklift experience * Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision * Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks * Lift and carry a minimum of up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout shift * Handling of freight as directed by Capstone management and customer, meeting company standards, customer time lines and maintaining a safe work environment * Calculate and communicate load pricing to drivers; collect fees and balance at end of shift * Keeps Site Supervisor and Manager informed regarding conditions on the dock, accomplishments and concerns; contributes suggestions for improvements * Flexible work schedule due to changing operational needs Capstone Logistics does not unlawfully discriminate in hiring.
