Job Summary:

Work in the Toggled warehouse with the responsibility for the flow of materials in and out of the building. Primary responsibilities include picking and shipping orders while keeping inventory organized and warehouse maintained.

What You Will Do:

  • Process customer orders in ERP system (QAD or NetSuite)

  • Pick orders from finished goods and prepare them for shipments (includes selecting appropriate shipping container and proper packaging to ensure parts are not damaged in transit)

  • Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures and supplier routing guides.

  • Prepare BOLs for LTL shipments, print labels for UPS and FedEx shipments

  • Generate shipping quotes for the sales team

  • Unload 40' containers (mostly palletized), inspect for damage and verify order accuracy

  • Perform cycle counts on inventory

  • Update firmware levels on iQ products

  • Communicate with 3rd party warehouses to ship orders

  • Help handle freight claims for damaged or missing shipments

  • May help cover customer support emails and phone calls

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to understand and follow procedures

  • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies and equipment

  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork

  • Ability to read, sort, check, count and verify numbers

  • Ability to use a computer (some experience with Microsoft Office preferred)

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

  • Ability to operate a forklift

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in a shipping & receiving or warehouse role
