Warehouse Associate - 2Nd Shift

We are in search of an experienced and versatile Warehouse Associate to join the 2nd Shift team (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), located at our distribution center near I-45N and Beltway 8. The Warehouse Associate will primarily be responsible for fulfilling customer orders using a RF scanner and ensuring the accuracy of all orders receiving custom embroidery work. Once that function of the warehouse is mastered, the Warehouse Associate will begin to ship order to customers, as well as verify, label, and process incoming garment merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Follow picking instructions from hand-held device;

• Pick correct garments for customer orders according to the hand-held device's instructions;

• Perform visual inspection verifying garments match items ordered on packing list, also checking for matching logos and hemming;

• Scan bar codes on packing list and each garment and repeat process for group orders;

• Read and verify any notes on packing list;

• Make boxes/bags and pack order after scanning, including all paperwork;

• Verify customer address and apply shipping label;

• Separate orders into groups or singles;

• Unload incoming shipments from parcel delivery trucks; Stage and sort shipments;

• Verify and inspect shipments as per Tyndale Receiving Guidelines;

• Record and properly complete internal and external paperwork;

• Label garments with barcodes as needed;

• Put away material following established put away procedures;

• Communicate issues to the Warehouse Manager/ Supervisor in a timely manner;

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required;

• Basic Computer Skills;

• Ability to Read and Function Hand Held Device;

• Ability to effectively communicate with team and other departments;

• Ability to lift up to 30-40lbs without assistance; infrequently lift boxes that are 60lbs;

• Excellent attention to detail.
