Thompson Creek Window Company is looking for an organized, problem solving, & goal-oriented Warehouse Admin. for the Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach area.

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Supports and performs the receipt and processing of material purchase orders (PO's) and replenishment stock orders.

  • Maintains records of all vendor shipment documentation.

  • Serves as primary point of contact to resolve all invoice issues related to material receipts.

  • Maintains records of and coordinates warehouse deliveries with Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and market Warehouse Administrator.

  • Serves as primary administrative point of contact for Warehouse Department.

  • Communicates any changes and/or non-conforming products to the TC Factory and appropriate Procurement Department personnel.

  • Supports and performs the delivery of materials and goods associated with customer installations and services.

  • Manages and maintains the VL06 Delivery Monitor Report ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all required customer installation and service deliveries.

  • Prepares Bill of Ladings and/or shipping manifests for outbound deliveries.

  • Processes required inventory movement transactions for goods and materials identified as RMA, RTI, RTV, scrap, and/or recycle ensuring adherence to established TCWC procedures.

  • Manages and organizes RMA area, ensuring all RMA products and materials are correctly designated by the project manager and accompanied by the necessary documentation.

  • Supports periodic inventory cycle counts in accordance with established TCWC procedures.

  • Conducts internal inventory audits and supports TCWC annual physical inventory.

  • Assists Procurement Department in reconciliation and modification of customer sales order and deliveries in support of PGI and invoice processing.

  • Manages and performs daily load out POS (Point of Sale) transactions in support of customer installations and services.

  • Manages delivery issues identification and reporting in support of next business day's customer installations and services.

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures including the use of required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

  • Maintains a safe work environment.

  • Maintains warehouse cleanliness and 5S principles.

  • Performs other duties as assigned in support of TCWC warehouse and inventory control operations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED.

  • Computer Skills: Competency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to develop moderate skills with SAP.

  • Certifications: Ability to obtain forklift certification after 30 days but prior to 60 days of employment.

Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): This position always requires approved safety shoes and protective eyewear and hand protection as necessary.

Pay: $21-$23/hr
