Position Title Walk-in Center Manager

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Walk-in Center Manager to be based in our Seattle, WA location.

Position manages daily WIC operations. Also performs work-force management and analytic activities to effectively manage WIC staffing to provide adequate coverage, performance, and contract KPI compliance.

Position Description or Typical

  • Understands program key metrics and reports on KPIs.

  • Reviews and reports Walk-in Center statistics.

  • Manages and understands the electronic queue management system.

  • Identifies the signs that may indicate possible performance opportunities and what areas to focus on to improve these numbers.

  • Directly manages multiple supervisors with indirect supervision of CSRs.

  • Performs responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Interviews and hires direct reports.

  • Plans, delegates, and directs work as necessary.

  • Manages personnel issues with the assistance of Human Resources.

  • Addresses internal/external complaints and resolving problems.

  • Sets goals and career development opportunities for staff.

  • Develops staff schedule

  • Handled customer escalations when required

  • Assists with Walk-in center deposit reconciliations

Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business or management or demonstrated equivalent.


  • 5 years experience in a call center and back office operations environment. Previous call center operations management preferred.

  • Strong process, analytical and organizational skills.

  • Strong time-management skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated productivity in a team environment, focusing on customer satisfaction.

  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to operational excellence.

  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written skills.

  • Understanding of effective human communication, interactions, and dynamics.

  • Computer proficient in MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer retail management experience.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Swedish Shared Services is looking for a Technology and Operations Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in the Swedish Simulation Center at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. The Simulation Technology and Operations Manager oversees the successful daily operations of the Swedish Simulation Center, including scheduling, supply inventory, maintaining and repairing simulators, simulation equipment, audio visual systems, computers and coordination of all simulation center activities in accordance with the standards of simulation practice. The Technology and Operations Manager works collaboratively with content leaders to program appropriate scenarios and physiological responses, creating a realistic and safe environment to meet Swedish specifications while adhering to internationally recognized simulation standards. This position will train all participating staff to ensure equipment competence and safety as well as conduct ongoing education on advances in technology and simulator equipment. In addition, this position is responsible for training and onboarding new Simulation Technology Specialists and guiding the work to ensure optimal workflow. In this position you will: * Oversee operation, set-up and maintenance of all medical simulation training center equipment (computerized patient simulators, simulation software, virtual and task trainers, and audiovisual devices). * Interface with product manufacturers and simulation vendors for new equipment recommendations. Research, review, demo, order, purchase, inventory and catalog all patient simulators, skill task trainers, medical equipment and supplies for effective center operations. * Assist in the design, implementation and presentation of specialized simulation training programs for center-based business development. Manage the scheduling of training events, staff and equipment for the Simulation Center. Supervise use of the Simulation Lab and associated instructors/facilitators to ensure policy adherence and present a safe learning environment. * Manage the maintenance, review, and updating of department documentation, which may include accreditation standards and policies and procedures related to simulation. Develop simulation training/operation manuals and reviews, update and maintain current manuals for proper content and best practice standards. * Maintain department records/databases; enters, extracts, and submits data for department, state/federal, or affiliation requests or requirements and statistical reporting. Create and distribute department reports. * Develop and maintain strategies to enhance programs and services, utilizing available resources and acquiring additional tools to create realistic clinical simulation learning scenarios and environments. * Complete individual project tasks assigned within designated timelines and due dates. Communicate immediately any issues that potentially jeopardize project deadlines. Recommend and/or develop a recovery plan for department management review. * Responsible for keeping website content current and accurate and in accordance with web design policies and standards. Required qualifications for this position include: * Bachelor's Degree in business, technology and/or related field * Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) * Recent or current professional experience in project management, operations and/or a supervisory role * Minimum two (2) years' experience in simulation or simulation-related work * BLS Certification * Minimum three (3) years' professional experience with computer technology * Equipment operation and simulation training from Laerdal, Gaumard and CAE manufacturers About Swedish Shared Services: Swedish is the largest, most comprehensive, nonprofit health provider in the Greater Seattle area.
