This is a 30 hour/week position and is benefit eligible!

How you will make an impact:

  • Become a subject matter expert on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods.

  • Engage our residents and their guests by sharing daily menu highlights and offering recommendations, based on knowing their preferences.

  • Accurately record food and beverage orders.

  • Consistently deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Community in Location is looking for a Program Manager to oversee the overall operation of the Continuing Care Program. This position assures that an on-going program of therapeutic and recreational actiieis stimulate the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional well-being of our Continuing Care residents (skilled nursing, long term care, memory care and assisted living. How you will make an impact: * Provide an environment that promotes and supports an active, healthy and independent lifestyle in accordance with the abilities of each individual resident. * Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the activity programs of Continuing Care, adapt programming based on the level of resident's impairment. * Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team Care Planning process. * Provide oversight of delivery of customized, individualized resident services. Create a monthly activity calendar to be displayed on each nursing unit and in each resident's room. * Design and plan therapeutic and recreational activity programs using own skill areas of specialty. Determine the need for activity supplies, identify vendors, generate supply lists, order supplies, label and distribute supplies where needed. * Ensure compliance with Federal, State and County requirements related to activity program documentation, including daily attendance, monthly calendars, progress note, MDS and Care Plans. * Participate in yearly budget planning process; identify payroll and department supply needs. * Educate staff and volunteers regarding resident's abilities and limitations, psychosocial needs and therapeutic interventions during in-service training and staff meeting. Serve as a resource person and role model for others.
