This is a day position (no weekends, holidays, or evening hours) and is 100% on-site support.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Perform installation, configuration, and upgrade of load balancing solutions for VxRail systems and VMs (VMware) according to best practices and guidelines
Maintain, configure, deploy, design load balancing solutions for VxRail Virtualization systems environment- VMs using VMware, VMware VCenter server appliance, EMC Avamar, realize, vSphere Virtualization, Cloud Load Balancing, or other technologies
Maintain and configure OSs to include Ubuntu, VMware Photon, Dell OS, RHEL, Isilon- OneFS
Develop, test, and manage APIs for VxRail systems and VMs
Integrate and monitor load balancing and API solutions with VxRail systems and VMs, as well as RedHat, Microsoft, and ArcGIS applications and services
Monitor and manage the health, availability, and performance of load balancing solutions and APIs using vCenter, vRealize, and other tools
Ensure data protection and security by implementing encryption, authentication, authorization, rate limiting, logging, and other policies for load balancing solutions and APIs
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for load balancing solutions and APIs, as well as VxRail systems and VMs, and RedHat, Microsoft, and ArcGIS applications and services
Document and update load balancing solutions and APIs configuration, inventory, and operational procedures
Conduct testing and validation of load balancing solutions and APIs functionality, performance, and compatibility
Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions related to load balancing and API development and management
Perform other role-appropriate duties as required
Required Qualifications
Five years of experience in VxRail systems engineering, administration, and/or support
Possess VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification, or equivalent knowledge and skills
Dell EMC VxRail Appliance Deployment and Implementation certification, or equivalent knowledge and skills
Experience and knowledge of load balancing and API development and management products and technologies, such as Application Gateway, Cloud Load Balancing, API Gateway, Axway, etc.
Experience and knowledge of ISILON, RedHat, Microsoft, and ArcGIS products and technologies
Experience and knowledge of networking, storage, backup, and security concepts and protocols
Experience and knowledge of scripting and automation tools and languages, such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.

Work unsupervised, independently or as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with sponsors, customers, subordinates, users
Bachelors Degree in STEM discipline or four additional years’ relevant experience
