Provide troubleshooting and testing of videoconferencing audiovisual equipment (videoconferencing, multimedia, audiovisual, projection systems, displays, cameras, microphones, integrated A/V systems, streaming technologies, digital signage, etc.).
Address and troubleshoot customer issues received via email or phone, Service Now Service Management system, as well as through monitoring tools for videoconferencing endpoints, infrastructure, integrated A/V systems, and networks.
Ensure that equipment for VTC sessions is configured, tested, and ready for operation prior to the scheduled time of the VTC session.
Install, program, configure and operate video bridges and dial-up connections for Polycom VTC equipment.
Assist with video teleconferences, meetings, All Hands, conferences and training sessions
Support various operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks for a variety of media systems, including live and delayed streaming broadcasts
US Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust
Customer service skills and experience fielding and troubleshooting customer questions and issues
Experience with media/VTC/UC vendors and technologies such as Polycom, Cisco, VBrick, Crestron
Knowledge with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) service and support to include scheduling; monitoring; administrative support and technical assistance to Video Teleconference customers
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Knowledge of different protocols: H.323, H.245, SIP, ISDN and associated ports for VTC and video streaming.
Basic network understanding and skills to be able to troubleshoot network related issues and work with network support teams.
