Carrier Enterprise is a joint venture between Watsco, Inc. and Carrier Corporation. Carrier Enterprise sells and distributes Carrier, Bryant and Payne residential and commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts and supplies throughout the United States, Latin America and Caribbean. This position will be located in New York City.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support sales growth and drive specifications of VRF products through consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and end users by marketing, specification, selection, and sales.

  • Seek new business opportunities by responding to new customers inquiries and the marketing of products and services.

  • Support the Inside and Outside Sales organization by providing technical support and application information on all VRF products.

  • Analyze the territory, develop, execute, and monitor sales programs of Carrier VRF products.

  • Take responsibility for generating quotes/proposals for VRF equipment for engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners, then working to close the sale.

  • Make presentations in front of engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners.

  • Help maintain pre and post sales job files.


  • 5-10 years of HVAC experience with knowledge of VRF applications

  • Must have experience in cold calling engineers and mechanical contractors to seek out plan/spec & design build opportunities

  • Must demonstrate confidence in conducting meetings and performing sales presentations

  • Must have experience in closing sales opportunities and growing a customer base

  • High sense of urgency and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction from management

  • Strong business, technical and problem solving skills needed

  • Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications
