In this role you'll have the chance to:
Develop and execute a HEOR and RWE strategic plan aligned with corporate and brand goals and objectives
Present HEOR and RWE studies at key scientific and payer meetings
Partner with Market Access to develop value proposition and engage with key stakeholders at top payer and provider accounts
Contribute HEOR and RWE insights and ideas for LCM strategy and value-based agreements with payers and/or IDNs
Provide strategic input into development of value proposition for pipeline assets
Lead HEOR and RWE training for Medical and Commercial team members
Co-lead Medical Affairs brand and evidence generation strategic planning and tactical execution
Serve as key member of Medical Affairs Leadership Team
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Master's degree in public health, health services research, health economics or related field
At least 10 years of progressive biopharmaceutical or medical device industry experience in HEOR and RWE, including new product planning and launch experience
Broad experience in health economics, epidemiology, and observational research, as demonstrated by track record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations of HEOR and RWE studies using a broad range of study designs and methodologies
Ability to travel domestically up to 20-30%
Doctoral degree in health services research, health economics, or related field
At least 15 years of progressive biopharmaceutical or medical device industry experience in HEOR and/or RWE
Both field-based and headquarters-based experience in HEOR and/or medical affairs
High level of business acumen as demonstrated by compliant collaboration with commercial and market access colleagues, and track record of productive engagement with payers and IDNs
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
Excellent planning and project management skills; able to turn strategic ideas into focused objectives and well-executed tactics
High-impact hands-on leadership as both a line manager and across matrixed organizations
Highly motivated self-starter -- able to work independently, collaboratively or as a team leader; able to manage ambiguous issues and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skill, as demonstrated by development of strong internal and external relationships and collaborations
